Early in 2004, Dave Lynnes started contracting welding jobs, in the community, that he and his sons could work on together in the evenings and weekends. Soon after he realized that the demand for his talent and 20 years of experience in the welding industry was in great demand. As a result, in April of 2004, Dave's Welding and Metal Fabrication, Inc. was established.
Today, Dave's Welding and Metal Fabrication, Inc. has expanded to employ 25 employees in its 17,000 square foot shop in Fargo. In 2008, Dave again saw a need and expanded his business by opening up a fully equipped paint department. Dave's priority is to become a integral part of the manufacturing process by providing top-quality, metal fabricated components.
Welding Training
Dave's entrepreneurial drive also led him to fulfill another dream when Lynnes Welding Training, Inc. was established. On March, 17, 2008 the ND Department of Career & Technical Education awarded Lynnes Welding Training Inc. authorization to operate as a private educational facility. Lynnes offeres 40 and 80 hour day classes in MIG, TIG and Stick Welding. Lynnes has expanded to offer a 5-week Pipe Course and an 11-week Combination Course in which all processes are taught to the students.
